The customer

VertiCast Media Group Limited is a vertically integrated media company reshaping the Caribbean’s media landscape. With a focus on delivering premium content across broadcast and digital platforms, VertiCast serves diverse markets throughout the region.

Customer requirement

Following its acquisition of exclusive live and on-demand broadcasting rights for some of the world’s most-watched sporting events—including the Premier League, NFL, and the FIFA World Cup—VertiCast needed to rapidly launch CSport, a premium SVOD (subscription video-on-demand) platform. The timeline was ambitious: the service needed to be live in under two months, aligned with the start of the Premier League season.

VertiCast also required a scalable, multi-platform solution capable of handling regional payment integrations and operational agility for live sports content publishing across 29 countries.

DIAGNAL solution

After an extensive vendor review process, DIAGNAL was selected in summer 2022 to deliver a turnkey managed services solution. Leveraging the ENLIGHT App Framework and the ENHANCE CMS, DIAGNAL enabled VertiCast to manage both content and user experiences across multiple platforms, while video delivery was powered through Harmonic.

The result? CSport launched on time, just ahead of the Premier League kickoff, with the scalability to onboard NFL and the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™ soon after.
