Intigral, a subsidiary of Saudi Telecom Group (STC), is a leading media and content operations provider for the Middle East’s largest telecommunications company. Specializing in product development and content management, Intigral plays a key role in advancing STC’s media offerings, supporting both large-scale telecommunications operations and consumer-focused media platforms across the MENA region.
Customer requirement
Saudi Telecom and Intigral sought to rapidly expand their TV services by launching a branded, operator-grade Android set-top box for STC TV. This new product aimed to deliver a premium TV experience, and they also needed to extend their Jawwy TV app across multiple large-screen devices to reach more consumers. The requirement included apps for platforms such as Samsung, LG, and Apple TV, as well as ensuring Jawwy TV was available for non-STC customers across the MENA region.
DIAGNAL solution
DIAGNAL was selected to build the next-generation STC TV Android set-top box application. This high-performance app offers over 200 live channels, complete with advanced features like rewind and start-over functionalities. Additionally, it integrates a comprehensive SVOD (Subscription Video On Demand) and TVOD (Transactional Video On Demand) library. To further broaden the reach, DIAGNAL also developed equivalent applications for Samsung, LG, Apple TV, and other large-screen devices.
The Jawwy TV app, which supports both English and Arabic, was made available directly to consumers across the MENA region, enabling non-STC customers to access a world-class viewing experience. Through a tailored multi-device strategy and premium app functionalities, DIAGNAL helped Intigral and STC offer a seamless, high-quality entertainment service across the region.
