Role

• Develop cutting edge TV video streaming for Samsung TV, LG TV, Xbox and PlayStation devices using the LightningJS Framework.
• Keep up to date on the latest industry trends and Device / OS / IDE updates
• Optimize performance and stability as well as non functional aspects such as logging
• Build slick UI UX interfaces with focus on usability features and pixel perfect implementation.
• Deliver app solutions across the entire app life cycle – prototype to build to test to launch to support
• Responsible for the technical design and development of advanced video streaming consumer applications with multiple backend integrations.

Experience Required

• 5+ years of total experience
• Hands on experience with LightningJS
• Hand on experience with ReactJS or native mobile application development for Android or iOS
• Experience with Typescript
• Prior team leading experience / potential to lead a team
• Experience in at least two of the following: creating custom UI controls, high performing API integrations, advanced state management, cross device support or performance optimizations.
• Knowledge of REST APIs and industry standard SDK integrations preferred
• Experience in JIRA and Confluence
• Experience in Agile, Continuous Integration, Test Driven Development
• Working knowledge of JavaScript Web Frameworks and applying these to video streaming or ecommerce applications is preferred
